Associate Attorney

Meghan Byrnes

Meghan Byrnes is an Associate Attorney at Anderson and Anderson Law, LLC. She is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas School of Law and holds an undergraduate degree in Spanish from Luther College in Decorah, IA. After graduating college, Meghan worked as an immigration paralegal with Anderson and Anderson Law for seven years.

 

While in law school, Meghan worked as a student attorney in both the Immigration Appellate and Criminal and Juvenile Defense Clinics, as a judicial extern for the Minnesota Court of Appeals, and as a law clerk for Anderson and Anderson. She served as a senior editor on the University of St. Thomas Journal of Law and Public Policy and was a member of the school’s 2020 New York City Moot Court team.

 

Meghan’s practice focuses on immigration law, family law, and criminal defense. She represents clients in Minnesota State Courts, Immigration Court, and before the Board of Immigration Appeals. She is fluent in Spanish and can be reached at meghan@andersonlf.com. Meghan lives in North Minneapolis with her husband, Patrick.
